The 34th Kentucky Women Writers Conference features food writer Ruth Reichl, novelist Karen Joy Fowler, author of the Jane Austen Book Club, and many more. Daytime sessions take place Sept. 21-22 at Carnegie Center, $195 two days / $30 students for workshops, panels, readings.
Free Evening Events
Each year, the confernece offers a number of events that are free and open to all. This year, we are featuring four nights of free events: dream hampton at the Lyric Theatre on Thurs., the Gypsy Poetry Slam at Transy's Carrick Theatre on Friday, Ruth Reichl at UK's Worsham Theatre on Sat., and Sunday readings by Rebecca Gayle Howell, Nancy Jensen, and Tori Murden McClure at Carnegie.
