The De Novo Prize is an annual contest sponsored by C&R Press for a first or second book of poetry.

De Novo 1st or 2nd Book of Poetry Prize


The De Novo Prize for a 1st or 2nd Book of Poetry is awarded annually. The winner receives $500 and 20 copies of his/her book. The winning book also receives national distribution, advance reading copies sent to reviewers, and a marketing campaign.

Submission period: March 1 - 31 of each year.
