  • Stephen Brandt Just finished writing a 71,000+ fantasy/SF Christian based novel and limited it to that because I had heard that publishers did not want anything too long for a first novel and that if it were much more than 50,000 words they would turn it down. I have been learning an awful lot about publishing in the past few hours. I have just found that some publishers want at least 80,000 or even 100,000 words to get started. I have left the ending of the bookwith a cliffhanger because I am planning on writing at least one sequel but also more books based on the idea behind the protagonist. Need ideas about where to go from here.

  • Michael Ray Hello everyone. My recent release is on Amazon entitled "The One Book You Need." It's non-fiction but is informative and spiritual. I have 40 other fiction books I need to make sure I've edited enough and then I'll get busy publishing those on Amazon.
