  • Aksha Shetty It's midnight and I'm awake. Being awake at this time is unusual for me. Usually I have sound sleep. But today it is different. It reminds me of sometime long back. Some time when everything in my life was different. It looks as if time has stood still. I'm right where it all began... 10 years back .  I can see it all... The wind chime swaying with a mild tinging sound, the clock ticking, my alarm going on. Mid terms are here and night is the best time for studying...at least for me. But today it is different. Its raining outside and I move towards the window to watch the first shower of the season. Lightning strikes cracking the skies and is followed by deafening thunder. I'm a med student and don't know much about changing climates but with the lightning followed by deafening thunder I hear someone yelling for help and as I go out to check, I am pulled by a strong wind. I am still moving in that direction but the pull grows so strong, that I'm blown by the wind. And the next thought I get is that I am stuck in a tornado. The pull is so  strong and I have a feeling that I am falling into something deep. As if I am falling down the cliff. I can't breathe. I don't know where I am being blown. I loose consciousness. Help... 19th December...
