FutureCycle Press publishes poetry and flash fiction in both print (on demand) and ebook formats. All FutureCycle Press editors, some of them distinguished poets and authors in their own right, volunteer their time to the press.

Submitting Your Work to FutureCycle Press

Before submitting to FutureCycle Press

The Market List recommends you verify the market is active and accepting submissions before sending your manuscript via regular mail. You may verify a market status by either visiting their website, calling their listed phone number, or comfirming via regular mail that the market is still active before sending them your work. To be sure your submission is appropriate for this market, we recommend you familiarize yourself with FutureCycle Press by reading a sample issue before submitting.

If you have recently submitted to FutureCycle Press or have experience with this market, please submit a comment below. Recent submission response times are always welcome and helpful to other writers.

From the FutureCycle Press guidelines:

Because our editors live in different locales yet must coordinate efficiently to handle their respective tasks, we require digital submissions uploaded by means of the online submission system, Submittable (formerly called Submishmash).

Note: As a general rule, we do not give feedback on work that is submitted to us unless we think we might accept it if recommended revisions are made. Please do not ask.

To submit books and chapbooks by a single author, a submission fee is charged; if accepted, a publishing contract is offered and the work copyrighted in the author's name.
