From the The American Spectator guidelines:

The American Spectator accepts completed, exclusive submissions for consideration for publication. Submissions should be 500-800 words, though exceptions can be made. Submissions should be Microsoft Word documents that include the name of the author and the date, and meet AP style guidelines. First time authors will need to include a brief bio of the author as well as a headshot to be used for the author page.
