Denise Marcil

Denise Marcil is the owner of Denise Marcil Literary Agency, LLC. She has represented an eclectic range of commercial fiction and nonfiction—from suspense, thrillers, contemporary women’s fiction and romances to business books. Many of these books have appeared on national bestseller lists including The New York Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, and The Los Angeles Times. She has built the brands of such authors as Dr. William Sears, America’s pediatrician who Time magazine called “the man who remade motherhood,” and New York Times #1 bestselling author Sherryl Woods.

Denise is now a consultant at Marcil-O’Farrell Literary, LLC, which she founded with partner Anne Marie O’Farrell in 2008. She no longer takes on new clients.
