She studied English literature at the University of Virginia and began her publishing career with an internship at Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Auh has also participated in publishing programs and discussions at universities and writing programs including Columbia, NYU, the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and the University of Michigan, and has served on the board of the Asian American Writers’ Workshop.
