Luke Janklow is President, Managing Director, and a literary agent at Janklow & Nesbit Associates. He represents a broad range of fiction and nonfiction, with an emphasis on strong voices, natural storytelling, and projects that excel within their chosen category. His fiction interests include satire, high-concept science fiction, ambitious novels, humor, thrillers and spy fiction, and young adult, while his nonfiction list includes narrative and idea-driven works, entertainment, sports, cookbooks, and selected design projects.
Janklow graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Cinema Studies and Art History and has a particular interest in the intersection of publishing with film, television, digital media, branding, and other forms of intellectual property.
Before his publishing career, he worked as a professional musician and songwriter, an experience he has said informs his approach to representing creative professionals. He was named president of Janklow & Nesbit in 2015.
