In June 2016, AMG announced that it was narrowing its publishing program after reviewing changes in the Christian book market. It cut staff in sales and product development and shifted its focus primarily toward Bibles, Bible reference, and selected youth fiction.
AMG Publishers remains a subsidiary of AMG International (Advancing the Ministries of the Gospel) in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Its current site is active, and AMG International still links to the publishing division.
