Katie Reed Literary accepts queries through QueryTracker only. Writers should carefully follow the instructions provided on the agency’s QueryTracker form. Unsolicited queries or submissions sent to the agency’s general email address will not be opened.
The agency aims to respond to queries within approximately 12 weeks and to requested submissions within roughly 6–8 weeks. Katie Reed Literary responds to every query and submission, so writers should not follow up unless they have received an offer of representation from another agent.
Katie Reed Literary is seeking marketable, high-concept stories with strong characters, tension, polished prose, and fresh perspectives, particularly work that elevates underrepresented voices. Current interests include romance, romantasy, dark romance, upmarket and book-club fiction, domestic suspense and psychological thrillers, fantasy, dystopian science fiction, literary fiction, mythology retellings, and YA/NA crossover projects with a strong romance element.
