The Gernert Agency Submission Guidelines

Send a query letter by mail or email describing the work you would like to submit. Include some information about yourself and, when appropriate, a sample chapter.

Do not send queries directly to individual agents. Email submissions should be sent to info@thegernertco.com and should indicate which agent you are querying.

If submitting by mail, include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) for a response. If you would like your materials returned, include a SASE with sufficient postage.

The agency is not responsible for materials lost in transit and cannot guarantee the return of submitted materials, even when a SASE is included.
