Tuttle Publishing welcomes unsolicited submissions focused on Asia-related topics, including languages, cuisines, martial arts, arts and crafts, and Eastern philosophies. They prefer digital submissions and request the following materials:

- A cover letter describing the work and the author's expertise.
- An annotated table of contents and chapter outline with brief descriptions and approximate word counts.
- One or two sample chapters.
- A brief resume and summary of the author's experience and published writings.
- Information on the author's visibility, such as a blog, website, or social media presence.
- Any relevant endorsements.
- A description of the target readership.
- A list of similar or competing books.
