About Chris Bucci
Chris Bucci is a Senior Agent and Co-Head of Aevitas Collaboration at Aevitas Creative Management, based in the New York metropolitan area. He began his career at the University of Toronto Press as an acquisitions editor in the social sciences, joined HarperCollins Canada in 2003 as a nonfiction editor, then moved to McClelland & Stewart. In 2008 he joined The McDermid Agency as a literary agent and later bought the agency with Martha Webb. In 2017 they merged with the Cooke Agency to form CookeMcDermid, where he was Proprietor and Literary Agent before joining Aevitas in 2020. He represents a broad range of adult fiction and nonfiction and aims to work with writers, thinkers, and experts whose work helps interpret and understand our times as well as our future.
