Kelly Sonnack is President and owner of Andrea Brown Literary Agency, where she represents writers and illustrators across a broad range of children’s literature. Her list includes picture books, early readers, middle grade, young adult, graphic novels, illustrated work, and children’s nonfiction. She works with both debut creators and established bestselling and award-winning authors and illustrators, with an emphasis on long-term career development.
Sonnack joined Andrea Brown Literary Agency in 2009 after working at the Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency and in acquisitions at Academic Press/Elsevier. She became owner and president of ABLA in February 2025. She has also served on the board of the Association of American Literary Agents and on its Illustration and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committees.
