Thank you for this useful suggestion.  I do not mind giving my book away as a free download.  It makes me happy simply to know that someone out there is reading it!

Freshfiction.com is another resource that might be willing to give your book a professional review for free!

Hello everyone!  I am new to Market List and have been reading through some of the comments.  As an unknown writer with zero advertising budget, it is very challenging to launch an e-book into the marketplace.  I am open to all ideas that have been successful for others.  Reviews posted on amazon have been positive.  Goodreads is another useful resource.  It is impossible to know if my Facebook information has helped promote my novel.  I am sure many of you are in the same boat!  Advice would be most welcome.  Please share!

Amethyst Creek commented on A Guest's article: I especially like your advice about taking some time before publishing a finished manuscript. Decisions made in haste are frequently not very good ones.

While this allows authors to achieve greater exposure, it is admittedly difficult to measure how effective it may be in improving sales.

Amethyst Creek commented on Patricia Ross's article: Your advice is very good. I have found that with romance novels, some readers strongly dislike sex scenes while others are disappointed if they are not included. You please some readers and upset others. Yikes!
