Spokane Prize for Short Fiction The Spokane Prize for Short Fiction is currently open for submissions, with a deadline of November 1, 2026. The prize offers a $1,500 cash award and publication by Willow Springs Books. Submissions must be book-length manuscripts of at least three stories totaling a minimum of 100 pages. The entry fee is $30, and submissions are accepted exclusively through Submittable. All authors, regardless of publication history, are eligible to apply.
