David Kuhn is Co-CEO of Aevitas Creative Management and a literary agent with a broad list concentrated in narrative nonfiction, history, politics, journalism, memoir, arts and culture, entertainment, fashion, music, and other idea-driven nonfiction. His clients have included journalists, academics, politicians, actors, musicians, artists, designers, and other prominent public figures, as well as selected fiction writers.
Before becoming an agent, Kuhn spent many years in magazine publishing. He was a Senior Editor at Vanity Fair, Features Director at The New Yorker, and Editor in Chief of Brill’s Content. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College. His represented books include Liaquat Ahamed’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Lords of Finance and Amy Schumer’s bestselling The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, along with works by Henry Louis Gates Jr., Charles Blow, Mary Norris, Marina Abramović, Emily Ratajkowski, Pamela Anderson, and numerous journalists and public figures.
